JOB TITLE:
HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for fulfilling all duties pertaining to workforce development, recruitment, and retention.
The HR Generalist also ensures the facility's hiring practices and policies conform with all state and federal laws and other regulatory requirements.
This position takes the lead in enforcing facility policies regarding attendance and advises department leads on disciplinary actions.
THE HR/BOD also administers the facility benefits program by assisting employees with enrollment.
HR Generalist assists CEO by serving as Compliance Officer, identifying risk, compliance, and other regulatory issues that impact the facility.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates all hiring, recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring that staff members meet the competencies required for their positions.
Maintains personnel and training records in accordance with state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
Acts as Compliance Officer for the facility regarding adherence to all state, federal, and other regulations pertaining to Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities.
Completes credentialing process for private insurance companies and Medicaid MCO's to ensure PYV is a provider for all available behavioral health insurance products in the state.
Works closely with Worker's Compensation provider to process claims and enable the smooth transition for employees to return to work.
Provides expertise to supervisors regarding disciplinary action as identified in policy and procedures, and ensures these actions are in conformance with EEOC, ADA, etc.
Acts as advocate for staff by explaining benefit program and assists them in navigating enrollment as needed.
Functions as an active member of Leadership, working closely with CEO and other members of senior management in the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan.
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in business-related or human services field preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
